After many years employment in community social services, retirement provided an opportunity to explore my artistic side. Watercolour seemed like a good choice - portable, not too messy, simple supplies. Little did I know. Countless instructional hours later, too much paper to think about and many more failures than successes, I have come to an understanding with my paints - they lead, I follow. It might just be beginning to work.
